WHAT IS POSACONAZOLE?
Posaconazole belongs to a class of medication called azole anti-fungals. It kills or stops the growth of certain kind of fungi which are responsible for causing fungal infection. Posaconazole is an antifungal medicine that fights certain infections caused by fungus.
Posaconazole is used to prevent fungal infections in people who have a weak immune system resulting from certain treatments or conditions (such as chemotherapy, stem cell transplantation, HIV infection, and others).

Common side effects may include:
Suspension: Store at 25°C (77°F); excursions are permitted between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F). Do not freeze. The Canadian labeling recommends to discard 4 weeks after opening.
Tablets: Store between 20°C and 25°C (68°F and 77°F); excursions are permitted between 15°C and 30°C (59°F and 86°F).
Injection: Store at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F).
